Admissions for Spring 2010 has been started!

 

In response to fast growing job opportunities in the telecommunication sector in Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University is offering a 4–year B.S. Telecommunication Engineering degree. Faculty members holding engineering degrees from foreign and reputed Pakistani universities have been hired for this program. These engineers are registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council. To work effectively in this rapidly growing field; the telecommunication engineer must strand both hardware and software techniques and must effectively use both technique in order to design, build and test complex telecommunication systems. The overall program provides an environment that encourages creativity and excitement-driven approach to deliver results.
 

Eligibility Criteria :

Intermediate, A-Levels or equivalent with good academic standing.

COURSE REQUIREMENT:

Each candidate for the BS Telecommunication Engineering degree is required to complete successfully the following undergraduate courses:

FEE STRUCTURE:
Admission Fee: Rs. 15,000 (payable once)
Tuition Fee (full-time student) Rs. 39,000 for 6 courses including cost of books
Tuition Fee (part-time student) Rs. 6,500 per course including cost of books

Note Full-time students are those who study 6 courses per semester.
 

WAIVER POLICY FOR STUDENTS SEEKING ADMISSION IN BATCHELOR’S PROGRAMS

Waiver of tuition fee for the first semester is as follows:
Marks obtained at the Intermediate examination of a recognized Board in Pakistan
Percentage of Marks Level of Waiver
80% or Above Full tuition waiver
75% to 79.9% 75% tuition waiver
70% to 74.9% 50% tuition waiver


ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE BASED WAIVER POLICY:

3.75 to 3.99 GPA 25% Waiver
4.00 GPA 50% Waiver



KINSHIP WAIVER:

Mohammad Ali Jinnah University grants Kinship fee concessions of 25% to the siblings of a student
